The Annual KZN Sport Awards are a premier event on the KwaZulu-Natal sporting calendar and are aligned to the National Sport and Recreation Plan. The Awards are hosted in collaboration with the KwaZulu-Natal Sports Confederation and aim to celebrate excellence within the sport and recreation sector.
Nominations are hereby invited for eligible individuals, teams, and organizations to be considered for recognition in the upcoming Awards Programme. The Call for Nominations provides an opportunity to acknowledge outstanding achievement, dedication, leadership, and meaningful contribution to sport and recreation in the province.
Stakeholders are encouraged to nominate deserving candidates who have demonstrated exceptional performance and impact during the qualifying period 09 September 2024 to 31 December 2025.
All eligible sport federations and entities are urged to complete the official nomination form and submit all required information and supporting documentation as outlined below.
Nomination Guidelines:
- The KZN Sport Awards Rulebook outlines all criteria, categories, and procedures.
- All nominations must be submitted using the prescribed nomination form.
- Supporting documents and relevant evidence must be attached.
- Nominations must be submitted on or before the closing date.
- Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
All nominations will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges representing media, tertiary institutions, sporting greats, and key sector stakeholders. The adjudication process will further be audited by an independent auditing firm to ensure transparency and credibility.
